weekly battlegroup

It’s time for the weekly update to inform you all of the happenings of the game, what’s been added, changed and more! Last week we delivered the game records feature. This allows you to view the history of every game played so far! Over time it will provider richer statistics, searching for all games by a certain player, more visual components and eventually battle replays - we have had some feedback from players saying they don’t necessarily want this feature as it will show players what their army is like. As such I invite more of you to give feedback on this feature through the forums.

The game also saw the addition of the wolverine, standard weapons, hunters in missions, plus a selection of unit balancing across Spartans, Marines, Grunts, Cobras and Hornets!

As some of you may know I have been working on the Battle group system and it has been coming along nicely – so nicely in fact that by the time you are reading this it will be live in the alpha and ready for testing! It is quite a basic system to begin with, just allowing players to associate themselves with others and a new leader board. However in time the features surrounding Battlegroups will grow and becomes more advanced. In addition it may not function as intended to begin with however I want you all to create some battlegroups, invite players from their page, and see how it all works! As always if you see anything funny be sure to report it.

A quick heads up. Once within a battlegroup you cannot join another. If you wish to leave, simply go to your Battlegroups page, and then click the Leave button at the bottom.

In addition to the Battlegroup system I have started work on changing the design slightly. For too long players have needed accessibility to all pages without scrolling so I am working on something to do it now! I am hoping this gets done soon so I can release it to you all.

That’s all for now - Be sure to bring along friends, and if you are new check out the Tutorial video!

Game-records should totally be implemented to show players other peoples armies. Think of it like recon and planning, this would be the closest thing to that.
